Storchrocker 🇬🇧 - What's gone so wrong with us
What's gone wrong with us
I'm lying in the meadow, staring up at the sky,
deep blue, with lazy clouds slowly drifting by.
The sun warms my skin, the wind plays through the trees,
far away a highway hum – for a moment, the world feels right.
The world is so beautiful, so fragile and pure,
yet inside my mind, a storm of doubt keeps raging.
I just want to feel, to breathe without thinking,
but silence never stays, and it leaves me weary.
What’s gone so wrong with us, in a world that gives us everything?
Why do we wage wars over borders long forgotten?
Why do we twist the rules instead of owning our mistakes?
Why do we believe lies, just because they’re easier to take?
We put our faith in machines and numbers,
but who still checks what’s truly behind the scenes?
Our own problems seem bigger than the world’s pain,
solidarity’s a whisper, and selfishness screams.
What’s gone so wrong with us, in a world that gives us everything?
Why do we wage wars over borders long forgotten?
Why do we twist the rules instead of owning our mistakes?
Why do we believe lies, just because they’re easier to take?
What about the children, the future we keep selling out?
We invest in quick wins and throw the long road away.
The truths we bury today will haunt them tomorrow,
and we won't be there to carry the weight.
Faster, louder, more selfish every day,
we’re spinning in circles, heading straight for the wall.
And at some point, there’s nothing left but one last cry:
ENOUGH! ENOUGH! ENOUGH!
What’s gone so wrong with us, in a world that gives us everything?
Where is this all leading, when we only look backwards?
How can we dream of better days,
if we’re too afraid to change?
I'm lying in the meadow, asking the sky for answers,
but deep inside I know – it’s all in our hands.

Storchrocker 🇬🇧 - Grandpa O.
Grandpa O.
You’re a kid with skies ahead,
chasing dreams with no regret.
You race the wind, you scrape your knees,
build your world in climbing trees.
You laugh out loud, you fall, you rise,
you live your truth without disguise.
Oh-oh, every step you choose to make
writes your name in fire or snow.
What you do will leave a wake –
don’t just drift where others go.
"Old and gray you're free to be –
but don’t be rude," said Grandpa O.
Hold your head up, walk that line,
with steady feet and heart that shines.
With every year the weight gets more,
you're not the child you were before.
It ain’t about the cash you keep –
it's how you face yourself and sleep.
Respect begins when no one sees,
in quiet truth and honesty.
Yeah-eh, every step you choose to make
writes your name in fire or snow.
What you do will leave a wake –
don’t just drift where others go.
"Old and gray you're free to be –
but don’t be rude," said Grandpa O.
Hold your head up, walk that line,
with steady feet and heart that shines.
Don’t just think of only you,
the world’s not always kind or true.
But those who dare to stay upright
can light a path, can fight the night.
So choose your side with heart and soul,
stand for something, take control.
Be the echo, not the noise,
find the strength behind your voice.
Don’t trade your pride for just one fall –
get back up and stand up tall.
Let your mirror speak with grace,
face the truth behind your face.
Yeah-eh, every step you choose to make
writes your name in fire or snow.
What you do will leave a wake –
don’t just drift where others go.
"Old and gray you're free to be –
but don’t be rude," said Grandpa O.
Shine it bright, let the world see –
you walked with love and dignity.

Storchrocker 🇬🇧 - Push Through the Dark
Push Through the Dark
Woke up again, my dreams just fucked me up.
Still the same old shit, no way out, I’m stuck.
Blurry eyes, no drive, can’t find the spark.
Get up now — somehow you’ll push through the dark.
I hit my head on the slats again.
Sleepin' down low in this double bunk den.
Parked on the sidetrack, left behind.
Get up now — somehow you’ll push through the dark.
I’m crawling, I’m falling — can’t fake who I am.
This weight on my shoulders, don’t know where I land.
I’m lost and I’m broken, can’t see where to start.
But I’ll get up — somehow I’ll push through the dark.
Who’s really standin’ right behind your back?
Who’s still a friend when the world turns black?
You’re left here alone, don’t know where you stand.
You gotta move — but how to command?
There are faces out there countin' on you.
You’re stuck in this fight, don’t know what to do.
You gotta rise, though your soul feels dry.
Even the dog just stares at you — poor fool.
Somethin’ is wrong, and it’s breakin’ the rule.
It’s not just in your head, it’s bigger than that.
Your life’s in freefall — how you climbin’ back?
Locked in a cage with no way out.
The weight is growin’
Through the dark.
I’m crawling, I’m falling — can’t fake who I am.
This weight on my shoulders, don’t know where I land.
I’m lost and I’m broken, can’t see where to start.
But I’ll get up — somehow I’ll push through the dark.
I’m so damn tired of fightin’ this fight.
Days turn to nights and nights to nights.
If someone’s out there — just give me a sign.
I’m breakin’ apart, but I won’t cross the line.
I’m crawling, I’m falling — but I’m not done yet.
This weight on my shoulders — I’ll pay that debt.
I’m lost and I’m broken — but I’ll restart.
Get up now — I will push through the dark!

Storchrocker 🇬🇧 - And That's okay
And That's okay
🎶🎵🎶
Late nights, deep breath — the silence speaks.
You’re holding storms behind your smile.
🎶🎵🎶
The world spins fast — you feel offbeat.
You're still standing — you're facing the speed.
You try, you fall, you rise again. -
You lose, you hope, - and start from then.
🎶🎵🎶
Not every wound will fade away,
But you are loved, — you’ll be okay.
🎶🎵🎶
You walk through fire, — you laugh through pain. -
You grow through every loss and strain.
You won’t have all the answers, — and that’s okay.
🎶 - you’ll find your way.
🎶 — just breathe, - just stay.
Even the moon forgets to shine.
Even the strong break down sometimes.
🎶 you are okay, — you’ll be okay. -
You won’t have all the answers, — and that’s okay.
🎶 — your heart still holds a light,
Even when shadows steal it in a fight.
🎶🎵🎶
You speak with grace, — calm and clear.
You’re not the noise, — you’re what they hear.
🎶🎵🎶
You don’t need to see the whole way.
It's not too late, — you’re here today.
You won’t have all the answers, — and that’s okay.
🎶 - you’ll find your way.
🎶 - just breathe, - just stay.
Even the moon forgets to shine.
Even the strong break down sometimes.
🎶 you are okay, — you’ll be okay. -
You won’t have all the answers, — and that’s okay.
🎶🎵
🎶🎵🎶
Stars don’t rush to take their place.
The ocean moves with patient grace.
You can rest and still be strong.
🎶🎵🎶
But you’ve known it, — all along.
🎶🎵🎶
You won’t have all the answers, — and that’s okay.
🎶 - you’ll find your way.
🎶 - no matter what comes.
With every breath, - you’re still alive. -
You won’t have all the answers, — and that’s okay. -
Even broken wings can rise. -
🎶 — and you will, too!

Storchrocker 🇬🇧 - Always Waiting
Always Waiting
I’ve waited since the very start –
Ich habe von Anfang an gewartet –
tiny hands and beating heart.
Mit kleinen Händen und klopfendem Herz.
Before I walked or learned to speak,
Noch bevor ich laufen oder sprechen konnte,
I waited for the world to peek.
wartete ich, dass sich mir die Welt zeigt.
And ever since, from then till now,
Und seitdem, von damals bis heute,
I wait — I always will, somehow.
warte ich – und werde es wohl immer tun.
Waiting for the bottle warm,
Warten, bis das Fläschchen warm ist,
for the chair to scrape, the spoken norm.
bis der Stuhl rückt und das „Du darfst jetzt“ kommt.
“Can I go now?” — not just yet,
„Darf ich jetzt gehen?“ – noch nicht,
rules and timings firmly set.
Regeln und Zeiten sind festgelegt.
Waiting for a friend to show,
Warten, bis der Freund endlich auftaucht,
for boredom’s weight to let me go.
dass die Langeweile von mir abfällt.
For time to pass, for skies to clear,
Dass Zeit vergeht, der Himmel aufklart,
to end the long “not yet” so near.
um das ewige „noch nicht“ zu beenden.
Waiting till the dentist’s done.
Warten, bis der Zahnarzt endlich fertig ist.
Waiting till little sis leave, for fun,
Warten, bis die kleine Schwester raus darf,
the kindergarten’s hold,
aus dem Kindergarten heraus,
I wait outside in sun or cold.
ich warte draußen, bei Sonne oder Kälte.
Waiting for my driver’s test,
Warten auf die FĂĽhrerscheinprĂĽfung,
dreams of freedom, self-expressed.
Träume von Freiheit, von Selbstständigkeit.
Then I wait in front of school,
Dann warte ich vor der Schule,
to bring little sis home — reversed the rule.
um die kleine Schwester nach Hause zu bringen – die Regeln gedreht.
We wait through joy, we wait through pain,
Wir warten in Freude, wir warten im Schmerz,
through summer heat and winter rain.
durch Sommerhitze und Winterregen.
From cradle cry to final breath,
Vom ersten Schrei bis zum letzten Atemzug,
we wait for life, we wait for death.
wir warten auf das Leben, wir warten auf den Tod.
In every laugh, in every tear —
In jedem Lachen, in jeder Träne –
it’s waiting that keeps us here.
es ist das Warten, das uns hierhält.
It’s part of me, from cradle to eternity.
Es gehört zu mir – von der Wiege bis in die Ewigkeit.
Waiting till she’s done her hair,
Warten, bis sie mit den Haaren fertig ist,
while I just sit and softly stare.
während ich dasitze und still schaue.
Waiting for newborn cry's,
Warten auf das erste Babygeschrei,
for doctor’s nod and lullaby.
auf das Nicken des Arztes und ein Schlaflied.
Then, the vow — the fateful day,
Dann das Gelübde – der große Tag,
“Now you may kiss her,” priests would say.
„Du darfst die Braut nun küssen“, sagt der Pfarrer.
Waiting for the kids to grow,
Warten, dass die Kinder größer werden,
and for their little tales to flow.
und ihre kleinen Geschichten erzählen.
Waiting while she finds her shoes,
Warten, bis sie ihre Schuhe findet,
while I rehearse the evening news.
während ich innerlich die Nachrichten durchgehe.
Waiting till the door swings wide,
Warten, bis die TĂĽr aufgeht,
the kids return with muddy pride.
die Kinder stolz und dreckig zurĂĽckkommen.
Waiting till the tears are dry,
Warten, bis die Tränen getrocknet sind,
till “I’m okay” is not a lie.
bis „Mir geht’s gut“ wirklich stimmt.
Waiting to just breathe again,
Warten, um wieder durchatmen zu können,
after loss and silent pain.
nach Verlust und stillem Schmerz.
Waiting for a friend to call,
Warten, dass ein Freund sich meldet,
or someone to drop by at all.
oder dass ĂĽberhaupt jemand vorbeischaut.
Waiting for that TV start,
Warten, bis die Lieblingsserie beginnt,
where fiction speaks into the heart.
wo Geschichten direkt ins Herz treffen.
Waiting till the ache is gone,
Warten, bis der Schmerz vergeht,
for sleep to drift and morning’s dawn.
bis der Schlaf kommt und der Morgen dämmert.
Waiting till the end is near —
Warten, bis das Ende naht –
or till there’s nothing left to fear.
oder bis es nichts mehr zu fĂĽrchten gibt.
We wait through joy, we wait through pain,
Wir warten in Freude, wir warten im Schmerz,
through summer heat and winter rain.
durch Sommerhitze und Winterregen.
From cradle cry to final breath,
Vom ersten Schrei bis zum letzten Atemzug,
we wait for life, we wait for death.
wir warten auf das Leben, wir warten auf den Tod.
In every laugh, in every tear —
In jedem Lachen, in jeder Träne –
it’s waiting that keeps us here.

Storchrocker 🇬🇧 - You Are Our Home
You Are Our Home
In the noise of everyday life, so much goes unseen.
But we see you – in every breath, every step.
You carry more than the world knows.
And we feel it – deep inside – every single day.
You're there when the morning barely starts,
giving rhythm, guiding hearts.
Through mess and laughter, through storm and strife,
you hold it all – you shape our life.
No big words, no need to show –
but we feel your strength in every flow.
You are our home, our anchor, our light.
You never give up, even deep in the night.
Don’t give up now – we know what you do.
We feel your strength, and we’re proud of you.
You hold us together, through all that you face –
and we stand by you, in every place.
We see you fight with heart and mind,
holding our world in hands so kind.
You are the calm when chaos grows loud,
the quiet force that makes us proud.
You carry thoughts no one else sees –
and we feel them all, in moments like these.
You are our home, our anchor, our light.
You never give up, even deep in the night.
Don’t give up now – we know what you do.
We feel your strength, and we’re proud of you.
You hold us together, through all that you face –
and we stand by you, in every place.
When you're tired, we’ll catch your fall.
When you doubt, we’ll hear your call.
We walk this path, never alone –
because what we feel makes this our home.
Don’t give up – we know what you mean.
We see what you carry, even when it’s unseen.
You’re more than enough, you always have been.
You're more than a title, more than a role –
you're the heart, the rhythm, the soul.
You show us strength without a sound –
and we feel it rise when you're around.
Every smile, every tear, every glance you give –
makes us believe, makes us live.
You are our home, our anchor, our light.
You never give up, even deep in the night.
Don’t give up now – we know what you do.
We feel your strength, and we’re proud of you.
You hold us together, through all that you face –
and we stand by you, in every place.
You are our home – our heart, our ground.
You give us direction when we’re lost or drowned.
And when the world gets too loud to roam –
we feel what matters: you are our home.
